ABOUT FLORENCE MALRIC-SMITH
I am an Aerospace Engineer with 14 years of experience in the space sector. Through my various roles at a global space company, I have developed technical skills, as well as project management and communication skills. I have developed innovative algorithms for the spacecraft attitude control system and managed several Research & Development projects in collaboration with internal teams and space agencies. As satellite operations specialist I have provided support to a Russian customer in Moscow for the operation of their Telecommunications satellites fleet. I provided training to the customer and expertise for the planning and executing of operations. I participated in the Low Earth Orbit Phase (LEOP) operations as Satellite engineer, provided support for In-Orbit Testing of the satellites, and supported the Satellite Handover process. I followed up the status of the customer\'s fleet and supported the Anomaly process. I participated in the validation of Operational procedures and Operational products. In my current position I am managing the operations of the Galileo constellation, with a particular focus on the resolutions of anomalies affecting the fleet of satellites.
