   As a Family Advocate, my responsibilities are to work with the Family Enrichment Center (F.E.C) team to get feedback from the Lower East Side/Chinatown community to determine what types of services would benefit the community as a whole to keep children safe and families together. Through a community co-design, we allow the community to take ownership of what they think will best benefit them, and this allows for ongoing sustainability that continues to support families.Using my experience in both serving the Lower East Side/Chinatown community and my understanding of the child welfare system, I am able to assess the needs of the community while providing programs, or Offerings, based on their input. If we are unable to provide that \"Offering\", we can partner with an organization that does.
