Presently Mr. Kinzel is the CIO at Vision Ease Lens located in Ramsey, Minnesota. Vision Ease is an international manufacturing company specializing in the manufacture of glass, polycarbonate, and plastic lens\'s. Duties encompass all IT globally for the company.Formerly Mr. Kinzel was the Vice President of Applications for Midwave located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. My responsibilities include all business applications as well as identity management and security. I have successfully started several consulting divisions within the company and have brought best practices, methods, and standards that are presently used through the company. Mr. Kinzel formerly was the CTO for Imation Corp. He is responsible for Imation’s strategic technical direction and overseeing all aspects of internal system development and maintenance. Prior to joining Imation Mr. Kinzel worked as an executive consultant for the creation of ERP and distribution systems as well as the installation and operation of warehouse facilities for Spitfire Technologies and for Jacob’s Trading Company.Previously Mr. Kinzel served as the Operations / IS Director for Parabody Inc. In this position the main responsibilities included all manufacturing operations, forecasting and scheduling as well as IT functions for the company. Prior to joining Parabody Mr. Kinzel was an Operations Director for Fingerhut Companies responsible for the distribution and warehouse systems. Responsibilities also included the design and implementation of a returns warehouse and ERP systems for multiple companies.Prior to joining Fingerhut Mr. Kinzel was an Operations Manager for CVN companies with the main responsibilities of design and implementation of bar coding and warehouse systems. Prior to this Mr. Kinzel held positions in the electronics in Unisys and with the Bureau of Engraving.Specialties: I have managed companies both from an operations perspective as well as IT. This is a very critical part of being the leader within an IT organization, having the experience of running companies and operations brings a valuable perspective to the strategic partnership of IT and the business. I have an extensive background of automation and implementation as well as having experience in several areas of business such as operations, accounting, client and human relations, international etc.
