I provide technical support for site investigation and remediation tasks at a large, former explosives manufacturing facility. My key responsibilities include supervising contractors during site preparation, overseeing extensive soil excavation and the demolition of contaminated concrete foundations, and directing site restoration efforts. I perform various surveying tasks using GNSS RTK equipment, install and inspect erosion control measures, and develop field maps using ArcGIS. Additionally, I conduct sediment, soil, surface-water, and groundwater sampling, as well as safety audits. As the site representative, I ensure effective communication among stakeholders and oversee operations and maintenance (O&M), incorporating safe work practices to support overall project success.
