About Leah Fletcher
Co-founder and Director of Client Experience at WEALTH|KC, a boutique financial planning firm located in Kansas City built to help professionals and retirees feel in control of their finances and decisions around money. Together our team helps individuals and families lay out their goals or how they envision their life with wants and needs. From there build a comprehensive financial plan (that’s ever-changing), and work together to focus on and accomplish one life event at a time. Specific to my role, I work with organizations and businesses to help provide opportunities for financial education to their members and employees. Previously, I was the Director of Career Development at Park University where I spent not quite 10 years helping early- to mid-level professionals grow in their field, pursue career advancement, and help them take control of their career goals. I have experience teaching and training adult learners in financial literacy, career counseling, and salary negotiation. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University and a Master’s in Higher Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I see a strong connection between career advancement and financial planning as they both work collectively to help pursue a life you enjoy - one without the other feels a little obsolete.
