MY LD TUTOR is an educational resource designed to assist all types of learners, including those with learning disabilities, with test preparation, study skills, organization and developing a personalized strategy for academic success. We provide one-on-one tutoring and small classes that carefully address the different needs of each student, their strengths and weaknesses in terms of subject material and executive functioning skills.

   Recruited as an interdisciplinary tutor with diverse experience across all subjects in high school and all reading and writing based in Liberal arts courses/collegecollege-graduate school. I have supported students and families across the United States and Europe in test preparation for ACT, SAT, IB, GRE & GMAT, as well as the application process for US colleges and graduate schools. I’ve also worked with a number of students with learning differences and/ or unique cases in terms of life context, achieve, or surpass their goals by focusing on teaching to the individual needs. This means evaluating past academic strengths & weaknesses, executive functioning & processing skills, as well as any supplementary documentation related to cognitive diagnoses, individualized learning plans or accommodations. I began consulting for Sentia Education while simultaneously running my own company that specialized in creating comprehensive and cohesive academic plans for each student, based on their cognitive profile, specific circumstances and goals. Over nearly 2 decades - which included founding and managing my own private tutoring company in NYC for 13 years – I have developed an expertise in developing customized teaching strategies and material that accommodates the diversity amongst individual learners. I have created a great deal of original material, homeschool curriculums that were successfully implemented, and designed comprehensive cohesive study plans for both long-term guidance and intensive short term crunches. I also am contributing author to LD SAT by penguin publishing, which was the first of its kind. I also have a forthcoming book/guide to educate students, teachers and parents/guardians in how to best use AI Chatbots and Ed tech tools responsibly, to ensure that students’ well-being and privacy are safeguarded and so that AI is used as only for beneficial learning enhancement.
