Legal Research Assistant to Professor Michael Foreman, EsquireDuring my role as a Research Assistant, I supported federal civil rights and employment matters by researching and analyzing issues under statutes such as the ADA, FMLA, and Title VII. I contributed directly to appellate advocacy by drafting a petition for writ of certiorari to the U.S. Supreme Court and researching and drafting sections of an amicus curiae brief. Through this work, I strengthened my legal research and writing skills, improved my ability to synthesize complex authorities under tight deadlines, and developed a more practical understanding of how litigation strategy is built through precise, well-supported arguments.
