ABOUT FIZA SYED
As a Civil Engineering student at the University of Calgary, I’m pursuing minors in Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development, as well as Transportation Engineering, to complement my technical skills with business acumen and innovation. I’ve completed three tiers of both the Engineering Entrepreneurship Certificate and the Engineering Leadership Certificate, reflecting my commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.I recently finished a 16-month work term as an Optimization Engineering Intern at Inter Pipeline, where I applied problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills to support a variety of engineering projects and initiatives. Currently, I’m serving as the Vice President of Operations for the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Society, where I oversee the management and optimization of the homeroom, lead initiatives to enhance student engagement, and ensure CEUS events are well-coordinated and run efficiently.Through these experiences, I have developed a passion for engineering, leadership, and entrepreneurship, and I’m eager to take on new challenges and opportunities in the future!
