As an off-cycle intern on the Amazon Tentpole team, I have been actively monitoring and analyzing earned media coverage for major retail events, including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Prime Big Deals Day, Amazon Big Spring Sale, and Prime Day. My role involves vetting and tagging coverage to highlight key messages and standout placements, ensuring strategic visibility across media channels. Additionally, I conduct manual sweeps of social profiles from our target media list to track earned mentions, while closely monitoring newsletters and podcasts to identify additional opportunities for media amplification.
