ABOUT MED. FIRAS SAFADI
I am a general and visceral surgeon with great passion for my specialty. With an experience that exceeds 20 years in three different countries (Syria, Yemen and Germany), my practice includes thyroid surgery, oncologic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, colorectal surgery and hernia surgery. Minimally invasive procedures present a significant part of my practice. My qualifications include a German Board (Facharzt) of visceral surgery and an additional speciality (Zusatzbezeichnung) in emergency medicine. I am also qualified with a Master of Medical Education (UK) and am actively involved in teaching medical students and training junior residents. As well, I am involved in many research projects in collaboration with international teams. As the founder and administrator of Brildox platform, I present educational content about the medical career in Germany and related issues. Soon I will launch Brildox Online School (BOS), an ambitious project that will include unique and high quality courses in different fields. I am constantly developing myself and working on different projects for the next years.
