Design many electrical distribution projects with the required equipment, such as transformers, cables, pull boxes, handholes, poles, lights, fuses…etc.• Apply and perform multiple standard codes such as Standard Electrical Service Requirements (SESR), General Rules and Specifications (Overhead and Underground), Approved Materials Catalog (AMC), and Distribution Engineering Technical Manual (DETM), in the design of the projects.• Conduct site visit to determine the condition of the existing electrical utilities and find the best locations for the proposed equipment.• Prepare calculations for the cables sizing, transformers sizing, voltage drop, and flicker for the electrical distribution projects.• Perform structural analysis for the new and existing electrical poles and checked their capability for adding new equipment in accordance with the acceptable codes and standards. • Review the design drawings prepared by colleagues for quality assurance/quality control. • Use multiple engineering analysis and design software such as Pole foreman, Distribution Toolkits, Cable Pull Program, G-Tech, and AutoCAD.
