Leading the careers education provision for Years 7-13 at a top performing independent school. Devising and delivering careers education in the curriculum. Writing schemes of work and lesson plans.Conducting one to one appointments at key decision making points including GCSE options, A Level options and degree and university choice. Working with Sixth Formers to identify suitable post-Tormead options including degree apprenticeships and providing expert advice on requirements. Managing the Oxbridge Support Programmes, delivering workshops, conducting one-to-ones and organising mock interviews to ensure application success.Advising on university and course choice and UCAS personal statements. Organising and delivering the University Speed Networking evening, linking alumnae at a variety of universities with students.Designing and delivering Year 10 and Year 11 Next Steps lessons, which includes input from alumnae, employers, universities, gap year and degree apprenticeship providers.Organising and delivering an exciting careers events programme including the annual Career Networking: STEM, Medicine, Finance and Law and Career Networking: Creative, Theatre, Design and Sport events.Creation and delivery of a work experience programme for Year 11 and Year 12 students. Building relationships with local businesses, parents and alumni to source opportunities for students to experience and learn about the world of work.
