Fiona is a Privacy Senior Legal Counsel at Blackberry. She has helped Fortune 500 companies build global privacy programs as well as refine existing programs. Fiona has privacy experience in the context of artificial intelligence, financial services, healthcare, and biometric data. Fiona has researched and written extensively on applications of GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, HITECH, and US biometric data protection laws. She is a published author and her most recent article,\"The Standard for Biometric Data Protection\" published in the Journal of Law and Cyber Warfare Volume 7 discussing the Trolley problem in the context of self-driving cars and biometric data. Fiona has her Juris Doctor degree and additional Certificate in Cybersecurity and Crisis Management Law from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
