ABOUT FIONA COOK

I\'m currently working in Corporate Communications for an international pharmaceutical company, but this is only a brief description of who I am and what I do. My passion lies in developing and delivering programs that impact people and their lives, and that help to tell the story of why companies go above and beyond their day to day business.I work as part of a communications team to build focussed corporate responsibility programs that offer support where it is needed most, whether that\'s help on the ground, working with local partners to find the hard to reach, making cash or product donations or capacity building initiatives. Over the course of my career, I\'ve worked for corporates and not for profit organisations and in a variety of roles across marketing, communications and project management which has given me a breadth of experience and the opportunity to learn and see things from different perspectives. I have a strong desire to be successful. I love to build programs that work for the business and our stakeholders, that not only make a difference but are memorable because they drive change. I enjoy working across a spectrum of different disciplines to combine my knowledge of marketing, communications with strong project management skills to make a real impact.I\'ve worked on a variety of different projects, from the creation of new and innovative CSR programs, managing the merger process of two large charities, internal change management to being the face of Sandoz\' contribution to CSR and its global drive to improve access to medicine in underserved communities.So in short, I love working as part of a successful team and performing to the highest standard possible. I love a new challenge, being faced with a blank sheet of paper and creating something new.
