ABOUT FIONA MILANO
I am passionate about technology and sustainable development, convinced that entrepreneurship is one of the best drivers of impact. In 2017, I co-founded Greenzy, a patented Belgian innovation for organic waste management. My journey then brought me to Montreal, where I completed a Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering at Polytechnique in 2024. Struck by the large amount of plastic waste produced by life sciences, I co-founded Phoenix Impact in 2023 with the ambition of reducing those plastics by more than 80%.
