Working within the HR BP team to deliver the customer facing HR service provision for Adult Social Care & Health, aligned to service delivery needs and the Council’s strategic objectives.Providing managerial teams with support and challenge across Adult Social Care & Health, providing effective people solutions to meet customer requirements across the overall People Plan.Responsibilities include:• Implementing consistent approaches to the Council’s transformational and cultural change agenda, ranging from strategic workforce planning, effective industrial and employee relations and talent and development approaches• Working in conjunction with the Resourcing Manager to develop and deploy strategic workforce planning strategies and approaches, ensuring these are understood and embedded and future demand and forecasts are monitored and achieved through effective people solutions• Delivering the HR aspects of Service Reviews from initial considerations and design to implementation, working with Management Teams, Resourcing Manager and People Change Leads as appropriate• Facilitating effective and positive industrial relations through agreed frameworks and protocols, supporting negotiations and consultation as appropriate and supporting managers to effectively resolve IR issues• Leading and deploying the talent and engagement agenda, creating and understanding of the importance of engagement, ensuring effective strategies are in place and embedded, aligned to the strategic workforce plan• Coordinating, facilitating and embedding performance management approaches and processes• Contributing to the development of a robust people plan within Adult Care• Championing specialist HR teams where appropriate• Contributing to the development of applicable employment policy and ensuring changes to HR policies and working practices are effectively communicated and embedded.
