ABOUT FIONA FLEMING
Global health specialist, currently leading the multi-disciplinary Reseach and Innovation team at Unlimit Health. From April 2019 – April 2021, I had a dual role and was appointed as the Integrated Systems Unit Team Lead and Deputy Director within a consortium project on Neglected Tropical Diseases receiving £91,670,124 UKAID funding. My key areas of expertise are designing and delivering a multi-disciplinary approach to monitoring programme performance and evaluating the epidemiological, economic and social impacts of NTD programs. My director level strategic and technical leadership at Unlimit Health within the Leadership Team involves agile decision-making on a broad range of organisational functions including budgeting, human resource, fundraising, delivery of key performance indicators and impact in addition to building an organisational culture which ensures diversity, equity and inclusion. I hold Chair, or Past-Chair, positions in international working groups for the Global Schistosomiasis Alliance (M&E), the Uniting to Combat NTDs (Gender Equity) and the NTD Non-Government Organization Network (WASH-NTDs). My strong communication skills have enabled me to excel in working in a cross-cultural context and with developing partnerships internationally to address complex public health issues with creative problem solving and innovation to deliver results.
