I lead teams building high-throughput systems that have to work under real-world scale.At Twilio, this means core Messaging infrastructure and Public APIs - supporting hundreds of thousands of customers and processing hundreds of millions of messages daily. A lot of the work goes into making sure these systems keep working when things get unpredictable (which they often do).I stay close to the technical side - from architecture to key implementation tradeoffs - and explore new ideas and approaches through hands-on work, including hackathons and writing at fiodar.ai.I’ve built ML-driven systems before AI became mainstream, including enterprise-grade intelligent automation systems, training models myself and navigating real-world data and operational inconsistencies. That experience now shows up in how I apply and champion AI/ML in day-to-day engineering - across systems, workflows, and how software actually gets built.
