ABOUT FINN LAWFORD MEE
I’m a Solutions Architect and Pre-Sales Engineer with a background in complex data, testing strategy, and large-scale financial systems. I started my career as a degree apprentice at the Bank of England, where I spent four years working across testing, data, and technology strategy in highly regulated environments.A significant part of my early work focused on designing and generating data for testing — ensuring critical banking systems behaved correctly across a wide range of scenarios. That experience gave me a strong foundation in data modelling, governance, automation, and understanding how technical decisions translate into operational and business risk.Today, I work at the intersection of customers, product, and engineering. My strengths lie in shaping technical solutions to real customer problems, supporting sales through discovery and solution design, and clearly communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. I enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity and helping teams move from “interesting technology” to tangible business value.Long-term, I’m working toward a CTO role, with a strong interest in building high-performing teams and products that balance technical excellence with real-world impact.Outside of work, I’ve been boxing for over 11 years. Fitness plays a big role in how I approach challenges — discipline, resilience, and continuous improvement. I enjoy connecting with people who are passionate about what they do, whether that’s in tech, sport, or good conversation down the pub.
