About Finn McKee
Waking up before sunrise to log miles as a Division I distance runner has taught me more than just physical discipline. It has shaped how I approach challenges, manage time, and stay focused under pressure. That same mindset drives my passion for using data and machine learning to find practical solutions to real-world problems.I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science and Business Analytics at UNC Charlotte, and finishing up my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in Fall 2025. Whether I am helping students master Python as an instructional assistant or developing tools to improve athletic performance, I approach every project with curiosity, determination, and a focus on impact.Outside of academics and athletics, I serve as Head Marketing Officer for the School of Data Science. I organize events, lead outreach efforts, and help build meaningful connections between students and professionals in the data community.I believe data has the power to tell stories, spark innovation, and improve lives.
