ABOUT FINN HERWIG
Most people in strategy and project management haven\'t used the tools. Most people who build these tools don\'t really get the business side of things. I\'ve spent the last few years sort of in between. Currently, I am leading the transformation of the global Damage business at SIXT, overseeing projects, processes, products, AI and performance. I test the tools myself, work with my team to build them, and present the case upwards. This combination of hands-on experience and boardroom readiness is what I find most useful. Before SIXT, I worked in logistics, executive consulting and software. I was always at the intersection of strategy and execution. I have lectured on corporate foresight and design thinking at graduate level, and I am genuinely interested in the intersection of AI and operational complexity. Not the hyped-up version — the part where you actually have to make it work inside a real organisation with real constraints. Outside of work, I am writing a book about strategy and its mistakes. I\'m also learning about wine with more dedication than is probably necessary. On a road bike when I can.
