As an Environment Manager within ScottishPower Renewables, I support our growing Offshore Renewables Business by assisting on the delivery of environmental compliance, and providing specialist advice within large-scale offshore wind projects throughout the full project lifecycle.Regulatory and legal environmental compliance on projects is ensured through the development, implementation, and audit of key processes/procedures; and communicating environmental performance, quality, and best practice requirements. Additionally, I engage with and undertake assessments of our supply chain to ensure that goods and services supplied meet required environmental and sustainability standards.Prior to and during construction, I will be responsible for undertaking inspections of offshore plant / activity to ensure that assets are supplied and installed in accordance with ScottishPower and legal environmental requirements, and create/own key project environmental documents such as environmental management plans to help deliver projects on time and within budget.
