ABOUT FILIPPO CASTIGLIONE
I am a scientist specializing in computational biology and bioinformatics, with a strong focus on modeling complex biological systems, particularly the immune system and its role in cancer and infectious diseases. My work also explores the application of Machine Learning and AI in both medicine and biology. Currently, Research Director at the National Research Council of Italy. My background includes a degree in Computer Science. I\'ve gained extensive research experience at institutions like IBM T.J. Watson Research Center, Princeton University, and Harvard Medical School. I hold a doctorate in Scientific Computing from the University of Cologne, Germany. My scientific output includes over 150 peer-reviewed research papers published in various journals, books, and conference proceedings. I\'ve also co-authored two patent applications and two books.
