Gabe Figueroa is a Producer and Director currently serving as Senior Producer at YADA YADA Studio.Recently completed narrative work includes projects Obie & The Specter (Producer) THE HERO (Director) and Chuck and Fern (Producer). His award-winning short film Cold Winter’s Night (Director) was honored in the ‘Best Children’s Programming’ category by the Television Academy and is streaming on Amazon Prime.Gabe advises the Seattle based DJ duo The Silk Road and their monthly World Music event CARAVAN at the Kremwerk Complex nightclub.Previously, Gabe led content production at Shots Studios, creating hit short-form videos and music videos as the lead producer of their stars Lele Pons and Juanpa Zurita – including Lele’s ‘Bloqueo’ video, which amassed viral acclaim with its unique “one-take” concept. Cumulatively, he oversaw the creative production of over seventy-five videos, amassing 750+ million views on YouTube.He has collaborated on the producing teams of feature films, commercials and music videos, supporting Artists such as Jennie, Pink and Alesso, in addition to global brands including Lululemon, MoneyGram, and Maybelline.Theatrically, Gabe sits on the Board of HERO Theatre – a bi-coastal social activist theatre company championing marginalized voices – where he previously acted as Associate Artistic Director for six years. During that time, he produced TEA by Velina Hasu Houston in 2022 and The Conduct of Life by María Irene Fornés in 2017. He is an associate member of SDC and has seen his producing work on stage at Center Theatre Group (50th Anniversary Celebration), the Belle Reve Theatre Company (Time Alone) and the Latino Theater Company (Encuentro de las Americas, 2017 Season).He received his training at Chapman University and was subsequently mentored at Cirque du Soleil and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.Gabe creates stories that embrace the contradictions of our humanity and experiences through warmth, dry humor, and empathy.
