As Executive Director, I provide strategic and operational leadership for ECNO, a not-for-profit organization supporting Ontario’s 76 district school boards through collaboration, innovation, and cost-effective technology stewardship. I am accountable to the Board of Directors for advancing ECNO’s mission and strategic plan, leading a team of dedicated professionals to deliver secure, efficient, and member-focused IT services across the K–12 sector.Key responsibilities include- Leading the development and implementation of ECNO’s strategic plan, ensuring measurable results through data and KPIs- Overseeing financial stewardship, budgeting, and controls to maintain transparency and fiscal responsibility- Strengthening relationships with school boards, government agencies, vendors, and education partners to advance shared goals- Promoting service delivery excellence across ECNO’s offerings, including cybersecurity, data privacy, and the Vetting of Applications for Security and Privacy (VASP) program- Aligning ECNO initiatives with provincial priorities in digital transformation, cybersecurity, AI, and information management- Representing ECNO provincially as a trusted advocate and thought leader for innovation and collaboration in K–12 education technology.
