ABOUT LORNA KAPUSTA

I am driven to inspire and help women become more actively involved in their finances at every life stage, so they can make their money work as hard as they do. This is personally important to me. For over 15 years, I had a growing family and career, and my husband and I had taken the ‘divide and conquer’ approach to money (he took on most of the financial planning and investing, I did everything else). Five years ago that changed when I started working at Fidelity. I quickly realized my husband and I needed to get on the same page about our finances and goals, and I needed to get way more involved. Thank goodness I did — the money stress I felt previously was significantly reduced and I felt a lot more confident about our goals and financial picture overall. As Head of Women & Engagement, I have made it my personal mission to help all women do the same. I speak with thousands of women across the country, inspiring one another and helping them take advantage of resources and action steps so they, too, can take control of their financial futures. While not working, I am typically juggling the demands of a busy household with my husband, three children, three dogs (Jazzy, Chewy and Rocko) and cat Views expressed are as of the date indicated and may change based on market and other conditions.
