ABOUT FIDAN HUSEYNZADA
I am a biologist and biotechnologist with academic and professional experience across research, laboratory work, and science education. My background includes research at the University of Aberdeen, where I investigated TORC1 activity and gene regulation in \'Saccharomyces cerevisiae\' using advanced molecular biology techniques such as PCR, gene knockouts, SDS-PAGE, and Western blotting. I have also contributed as a laboratory assistant, supporting experimental design, data collection, reagent preparation, and equipment maintenance in collaborative research environments.In parallel, I have gained teaching experience as an IB Science teacher, delivering inquiry-based lessons, designing laboratory activities, and contributing to curriculum development within the IB PYP/MYP framework. Earlier roles, including academic support and laboratory assistance, further strengthened my skills in experiment facilitation, student engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration.I am motivated by advancing scientific research while fostering innovation and curiosity in education.
