ABOUT DAVID LAWTON

We are a bespoke digital projects consultancy based in the North of England across three sites. Our expertise is in building and operating highest quality digital systems for our clients. FGS combines its extensive experience in the industry, together with its significant expertise to maximise the benefits to its clients. We provide consultancy, support and governance services for the access to the Internet of Things (IoT), aiming to be the principal consultancy for open source and public access IoT networks in the U.K. By the application of our experience, skills and knowledge, helping to provide access to the Internet of Things to all aspects of industry, agriculture, medical services, retail, the public in general and in particular provide access to rural and remote areas whilst doing so with a low power, environmentally conscious solution. We will respond to this unique opportunity by applying the years of experience and specialised skillsets of our team into providing both the hardware and software support and development consultancy services. The Internet of Things is set to explode as millions of devices become able to share experiences, data and contribute to inter-connectivity. It will become hugely important that the networks that provide access to these services are stable and secure. We will be at the forefront of the delivery of both the networks and the support services to the UK, in particular outside of the major conurbations and in more rural and remote areas. We will improve the current network by increasing the scope, lowering risk and improving stability and ease of access, achieving this by delivering network validation services and provision across multiple low power hardware platforms. We will be involved in the improvement and ongoing development of open source software that maintains and controls networks.
