As the technical co-founder of Lunchtastic, I spearheaded the design, architecture, and delivery of a next-generation hot meal vending system—reimagining what’s possible in automated foodservice. From reverse engineering OEM hardware to building a full software ecosystem, I led the transformation of a concept into a fully functioning, compliant, and market-ready platform.Key Responsibilities & Achievements- Hardware Innovation: Augmented base vending machine shell with upgraded embedded computing, fault tolerant control, custom microcontrollers, net-new subsystems, telemetry-based safety data logging, and more- Software Architecture and development team lead of full-stack cloud platform and embedded applications including- Custom Android-based point-of-sale and vending machine operating system - A modern web application for hardware, inventory, product, and sales management - A serverless backend API with edge caching and real-time syncing- Systems Integration: Created a cloud-based Fleet Manager for OTA updates, inventory, telemetry, and compliance management across machines- Food + Tech Synergy: Aligned hardware/software development with our proprietary food operations model and quality monitoring- Regulatory Compliance: Navigated and built systems to meet US HACCP food safety standards- Go-To-Market Strategy: Co-led the branding, marketing, and launch strategy—developing messaging, campaigns, and business models for both the food and tech sides of the company
