Stationed within the Development and Infrastructure team in Leeds. Involved in the preparation of S278 submissions for proposed developments as well as the design of new access options such as priority junctions, ghost island junctions and mini roundabouts. Responsible for the design, drafting and review of engineering drawings in compliance with relevant DMRB Standard, TSRGD while also using CDM designer guidance. DMRB guidance typically followed includes CD116, CD143, CD122, CD123 and CD109. Audits and designs different cyclist and pedestrian schemes to achieve LTN 1/20 compliance, with the objective of improving safety and comfort of pedestrians and cyclists in the UK. Schemes include Medway LCWIP, Doncaster LCWIP, and Warwick Bridge pedestrian crossing. Assesses Technical notes, Transport assessments and other associated documents of newly proposed developments on behalf of National Highways to evaluate the impact on the Strategic Road Network in accordance with UK government guidance from DfT Circular 01/22 and NPPF.
