Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of flight control and embedded software for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Focus on building reliable firmware and control systems enabling safe and efficient BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) operations across Europe.Develop and maintain the flight control software stack, firmware-level drivers, and embedded applications for STM32 and ARM-based platforms. Contribute to open-source flight control frameworks such as PX4 and Ardupilot, ensuring high performance and robustness in autonomous flight systems.Key responsibilities and contributions:Development and maintenance of flight control and embedded systems software.Design and documentation of flight control firmware for fixed-wing and VTOL UAVs.Implementation of real-time functionalities using FreeRTOS, Nuttx, and similar RTOS environments.Integration and debugging of system interfaces (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, SDIO).Development of software tools and internal testing frameworks for UAV systems.Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability and mission performance.Focused on advancing autonomous aerial technologies through innovative software engineering, system integration, and continuous improvement of UAV performance and safety.
