My Role and ResponsibilitiesHigh-Level Development & Architecture: I design, develop, and maintain our applications using technologies like Angular, Python, Flask, and MySQL—leveraging AWS services where needed. I also ensure we’re building towards a scalable architecture and continuously exploring modern best practices.Team Leadership & Mentorship: I guide and support the team, including newly hired Intermediate Software Developers. From paired programming sessions to code reviews, I provide feedback and foster an environment of continual learning and collaboration.SCRUM / Agile Project Management: I coordinate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives—making sure tasks are clearly defined, estimated accurately, and delivered on schedule. By communicating with the Product Owner and cross-functional stakeholders, I ensure alignment on priorities and timelines.Collaboration & Communication: I work closely with QA, UX, and project management to align on requirements and objectives. I maintain open channels for feedback and problem-solving, ensuring any technical hurdles are addressed swiftly.Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement: I lead by example when diagnosing complex issues. Together with the team, I advocate for robust testing, proactive refactoring, and deployment enhancements that keep us up-to-date with our industry’s standards.
