MACCHI, operational division of SOFINTER SPA, is a leading and highly experienced company active, on worldwide basis, in the supply of industrial fired boilers and heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) mainly for oil & gas industry.My main duties as an Instrumentation & Electrical Specialist are- Review and analysis of Client\'s project technical documentation and requirements- Define engineering design basis and guidelines for the project- Communication and interface with other engineering disciplines- Provide technical support to project team- Participate to P & IDs / 3D model review- Participate to technical meetings with Client and Vendor - Prepare instrumentation general design specifications and particular technical specifications- Prepare project technical specifications and datasheets (e.g. for electric motors, on/off valves, control valves, flow elements, analyzers, local gauges, transmitters etc.) based on Client\'s requirements- Prepare inspection and test plan (ITP) for instrumentation / electrical equipment - Prepare instrument / electrical cable list and load list- Prepare instrumentation typical installation drawings (primary / pneumatic / electric hook-up drawings)- Prepare instrumentation bulk material take-off (MTO)- Prepare instrumentation layout drawings (instrument layout / cable routing layout)- Prepare instrument / electrical wiring documents (e.g. junction box wiring, low voltage distribution panel wiring etc.)- Review of Vendor quotations, perform technical alignment and post-order follow-up- Participate to factory acceptance test (FAT) activities at Vendor\'s workshopI deem my work is very interesting because it allows me to increase and deepen the subjects I treat. In fact, the boilers we supply are always different, and this allows me to always learn new things.
