I am an Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineer with strong experience in components and mechanism analysis and design, focused on satellital systems. I have over 10 years experience in the full process of research and development of satellite mechanisms, starting from the concept design up to the delivery of a fully qualified Mechanical System.• Strong formal education and wide experience in structural analysis, development and implementation of finite element method. Static, dynamics, fatigue analysis, vibration response, thermal, rigid body dynamics, composite structures, etc.• Strong experience on tests of mechanical devices and components in order to complete space environment qualification.• Experience on writing technical documents. analysis documents, test procedures, assembly procedures, test reports, presentations, trade-off, etc. • Experience on meeting and review boards.• Experience preparing documents related to mechanical qualification tests. The experience gained also includes all the issues related to Non-Conformities and its solutions.• Experience on define tests configurations and test levels.• Wide knowledge on manufacturing process and manufacturing control (milling, lathe machine, casting, extruded, forging, etc )on several different types of space grade materials. Special knowledge on additive manufacturing process (3D printed metallic parts)• Experience on definition and design for all of the required Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE).• Experience on CAD and manufacturing drawing issuing as well as drawings interpretation• Wide knowledge on the use of Product Data Management (PDM)• Wide experience in manage of Work Packages. The WP contains the complete budget details for Hours, Money Costs, schedules, Milestones, facility resources, manpower resources, and meetings with clients.• Wid experience on project management, mostly from Microsoft Project and Enterprise Architect software.• Experience on the use of ESA Standards. • Wide knowledge on space use material. Special experience on composites structures.• Experience on in-situ preparation for satellites launch. Experience gained after being part of the preparation campaign for two Satellites (VAFB and CCAFB)• Experience on handworking by performing assembly and set-up for mechanisms.
