Execute high priority performance improvement initiatives and solve systemic issues to improve production output and efficiency- Develop and maintain metrics and reporting systems to accurately track Production activities; extract data from ERP systems to analyze Production processes and make recommendations for improvement- Design, develop, implement and troubleshoot new and existing manufacturing processes- Identify and justify projects to improve manufacturing capability, yields, productivity and capacity- Conduct Lean Training, Kaizen Events, Investigation and Corrective Actions- Specify, procure, commission and qualify new equipment- Manage drawings, shop floor work instructions/build sheets, process flows, plant layouts, material handling and quality control systems- Participates in the development and maintenance of technical documentation including drawings, plans and specifications- Monitor Production activities and report out on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform day-to-day operations, as well as strategic initiatives- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues impacting Production, implement changes to improve product quality and yield, and inform decision making to ensure effort is aligned with business goals- Organize and facilitate team meetings to coordinate effort, foster consensus in decision making, promote acceptance of change, and drive accountability on action items - Perform quality audits and analyze damaged material, report out on trends, and lead Continuous Improvement activities that address real and emergent risks to Production - Supports production activities as needed- Ensures smooth running of equipment within own functional area.
