About Fernando C. Melo
I recently graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S.B.A in Information Systems and a minor in Economics. While pursuing my degree, I’ve been concentrating on developing my leadership, analytical, technical, and teamwork skills through my campus involvement. I have served as president of FBLA-PBL, one of the largest business student organizations. I have been accepted to pledge Delta Sigma Pi, a professional fraternity organized to bring together students of business in universities. To complement my undergraduate studies, I have previously interned with XP Investments, a broker-dealer company headquartered in New York City. Additionally, this past summer I have devoted my time to studying and passing the first level of the CFA program. In combining rigorous academic and professional development, I would like to pursue a career where I can harness my passion for exploring information systems in the financial industry.
