About Fernando Assing

30 years of experience in the EPC and Oilfield Service industries, including senior management roles in marketing, business development, commercial, project management and operations management. I currently serve as the President & CEO of the Centurion Group Centurion Group is the global rental, services and infrastructure platform of SCF Partners. I joined Centurion in May 2018 after taking a break following the sale of Tesco Corporation to Nabors Industries in December 2017 in an all stock deal. I am also currently serving in the Enerflex (TSX:EFX) Board. Prior to Centurion I joined Tesco in 2009 as SVP of Marketing and Business Development and was subsequently promoted to the role of SVP & COO in 2011. I became President & CEO in December 2014. Prior to Tesco, I served in multiple global and regional positions within the IPM Segment of Schlumberger between 1997 and 2009. Before that, I worked for Technip in various project management and business development roles between 1991 and 1997. Tesco provided me significant Board exposure, not only as a Director during my CEO tenure, but also given that full-time attendance began in 2011 as the COO. I also served as a Director of the Greater Houston Partnership* pro-bono between January 2016 and February 2018. This has provided me a welcome opportunity to impact broad and highly relevant socioeconomic issues.
