   Secret Clearance – Passport – Travel 40% to 50%- OCONUS - Secured & Non-Secured As the Senior Estimating Manager (SEM) I’m responsible for hiring, leading the Estimating team, including training, coaching, promoting, assisting in the implementation of processes, strategies, I am responsible for managing all activities related to estimating the elements of project cost including labor, materials and permanent equipment, supplies, consumables and expenses, construction equipment rental and operating costs, contingency, escalation, program risk, shipping, OCONUS, CONUS, provide 35% 65% 95% and 100% government budgets, in-house estimates to determine if sub’s are providing a competitive bid, etc. also manage the estimating function for groups, regional locations, and/or major projects. Then report to the Vice President, with preconstruction - Estimating - Logistics pursuits from current, preliminary bids to budgets, procurement, and shipment. SEM will primarily be responsible for setting up and maintain preconstruction project records, subcontractor solicitations, scope estimating and analyzing assigned projects. SEM will also be involved in assisting the team during the buy-out and scope development for awarded projects. I am a leader who is willing to listen and collaborate, have exceptional communication skills, and can think outside the box as needed. • Manage and lead all estimating activities, including estimate planning, preliminary project schedule, coordination of estimating activities, equipment and material take-off, cost, vendor, and subcontractor quotations, calculating Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR), preparation of a basis of estimate, and leading estimate reviews. • Implement estimating policy, procedures, and systems consistent with the company mission and competitive practices.
