About Fernanda Vanegas
I am French, Guatemalan and Colombian national and have lived for extended periods of time in Spain, Bolivia, Egypt, France, El Salvador, Colombia, the U.S, and Peru. After my Bachelor\'s in Political Sciences, I earned a Masters’ Degree in International Affairs, International Law and International Public Management from Sciences Po Paris, in France. Since then, I have had extensive working experience in women’s rights issues and gender equality in public, private and international sectors, with a particular focus on the Latin America and Caribbean region. After coordinating all the technical and specialized work of the Women\'s Rights desk within an International Organization, I am now working as Independant Consultant with various organizations leading projects to defend, protect and promote Gender Equality and Women\'s Rights worldwide.
