Fernanda Contreras spearheads Business Development and Account Management for Latin America and the Caribbean for Preqin, the leading source of data, insights and intelligence on alternative assets. Fernanda empowers institutional investors, fund managers and service providers to make data-driven decisions using market intelligence to stay ahead of the market, identify opportunities in investing, fundraising and keeping track of competitors. She works closely with local private capital associations to champion Latin America and represent the region at an international level. Prior to joining Preqin, she worked for Veritas Technologies as an account manager for Latin America-based clients helping them discover the truth in information- their most important digital asset. Fernanda earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication & public relations, with additional studies in digital & loyalty marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
