ApcoaAt Apcoa, our mission was to build a centralized application serving millions of users across multiple countries, replacing dozens of country-specific apps with a single, scalable platform.My Key Contributions • Led the migration of millions of users from legacy systems into the new unified application. • Worked hands-on across the entire backend stack — from API design and database optimization to cloud deployment and monitoring. • Identified system inefficiencies and suggested large & small refactoring initiatives, to transform legacy components into scalable, maintainable, and high-performance architectures. • Implemented a System Validator, an automated observer that continuously checks session states, detects broken or inconsistent data, and allows developers to attach targeted fix scripts for self-healing. • Collaborated with cross-functional teams (internal and external) to clarify requirements, align priorities, and ensure smooth delivery.Key Technical Improvements • Enhanced developer productivity by introducing.NET Aspire, enabling full end-to-end debugging our microservices. • Built a fully debuggable integration test infrastructure in C# using Aspire — executable locally or against real deployments post-merge. • Championed best practices and modern engineering approaches that improved reliability, performance, and team velocity.
