WORK HISTORY
Research Assistant @Illinois Institute Of Technology
Chicago, IL, US
Co-authored a comprehensive taxonomy of modern DRAM- and SRAM-based PIM architectures, organizing recent designs by key architectural characteristics and illustrating how these differences impact programmability and performance.• Investigated hardware-software co-design strategies to reduce memory bottlenecks and improve system-level efficiency in ML inference, including transformer and GNN models.• Contributed to research on HyPIM, a heterogeneous GPU–HBM PIM architecture for accelerating hyperbolic machine learning, helping analyze operator bottlenecks, evaluate hardware design trade-offs, and validate results demonstrating up to 80× operator-level speedups and 3.5× end-to-end improvements over GPU-only execution.
