ABOUT FERGUS SINGLETON
I am an energetic and engaging leader with a proven track record for successfully managing large programmes in the Aerospace and Defence sector. I have held several Management Committee positions and I am often asked to lead teams through challenging times or to take on strategically important or transformational roles.I am married to Christine, and we have three children: James (21 years old), Ella (20 years old) and Amelie (14 years old). Unfortunately, James is severely disabled – he has cerebral palsy and a range of associated complications. James and the girls keep us pretty busy but I am still a keen (if uncoordinated) sportsman and enjoy keeping fit with what is left of my leisure time. I have also been a STEM Ambassador for schools promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics and I act as a mentor for smaller businesses through the Government’s “Be the business” programme.
