As a Software Engineer at Kraken I have been leading small teams on the design, build and maintenance of microservices involved in delivering products that provide grid flexibility services. The system is predominantly built using AWS serverless offerings and follows an event driven architecture. Since starting I have been involved in:• Systems that manage the lifecycle and authentication of physical assets• Systems that collect telemetry from physical assets• Legacy migration projects, splitting the product from a single AWS account into multiple workload accountsI\'m currently working on a central event system that allows different parts of the product to communicate with each other and with the clients of the overall product
