PROJECTHINCKLEY POINT C NUCLEAR PLANT - The construction of a new nuclear power station, which involves two nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in Britain, which will provide zero-carbon electricity to approximately six million homes. As a nuclear new build client representative, I oversee the following contractors.My Contracts as Lead Engineer (Unit 1 & 2)(1) FRAMATOME - Scope definition; Two EPR reactors/nuclear steam supply systems.(2) Fayat - Scope definition; 29 overhead travelling cranes in machine rooms and pump stations,(300t/40t/20t) at HM Building.(3) MEH Alliances Scope definition; MEP/Heat Ventilation and Air Condition/HVAC )(4) APCO - Scope definition; Crane Installation (300t/40t/20t.) in Nuclear Reactor Building Unit 1 and 2.(5) Crown House Engineering - Scope definition; HVAC (MEP Services) i e Ducts, Chilled Water System, AHUs, FCUs, Sprinkler and Fire Alarm System, Plumbing and Drainage Systems.(6) Exyte Hargreaves - Scope definition; HVAC (MEP Services) i e Ducts, Chilled Water System, AHUs, FCUs, Sprinkler and Fire Alarm System, Plumbing and Drainage Systems.(7) Veolia - Demineralisation Water System i.e production, storage and distribution to Convectional Island - BOP4.(8) OTIS - Lift installation in Nuclear and Conventional Island.(9) Amemtum - Installation of Security Doors (Neutrol, Gamma, Revolving Neutron Doors).(10) Arabelle Solution - Installation of Turbine.
