Four days before I was supposed to start at OMR, the OMR Festival was canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak; I was left without a job. One day later, Philipp Westermeyer confirmed what I knew: that I was basically unemployed but he also assured me that I would get paid for a transition period while looking for a new job. Nevertheless, I asked for a laptop and for him to keep me in mind if any task came up. And so it happened that on my very first day Philipp asked me to take a look at review platforms and their business models. Four years later, we have built a team of 60+ people around omr.com/reviews. In fewer than three months, we’ve reached six-digit sales figures and OMR Reviews now figures to be among Europe’s fastest growing marketplaces. My responsibility is to keep OMR Reviews running internally and enable software seekers find the software or service they need.
