No spin, just actionable clarity.I’m a university-trained conference interpreter with experience in environments where words carry real consequences, from multilateral diplomacy to corporate strategy. That frontline exposure taught me what gets lost in translation, and what makes a message land.I build on that foundation to support strategic communication in challenging environments, especially where history, power, and perception collide.My PhD examined how Chinese actors navigate legitimacy and security in South Sudan, based on fieldwork in high-risk contexts. My wider research covers identity, transitional justice, and peacebuilding, with particular attention to East Africa, Taiwan, and China.From UN floors to fieldwork in Juba to classrooms at LSE, Sciences Po, and Heidelberg, I’ve learned that real understanding takes more than intuition.
