In my current role on City Year Chicago’s Civic Engagement Team I act as liaison between underrepresented communities,corporations and nonprofits, organizing tailored service events to meet essential needs.Managed various stakeholder groups including teachers,staff and,students during my previous role as a Student Success Coach. Appointed Inter-Fraternity Council Community Service Chair, I used my leadership role to challenge my college/hometown peers to reconsider their relationship to community service.Worked with up to 9 different fraternities, where I stressed the need for a consistent commitment to service and the key role they all played in providing aid to the under-resourced rural communities that surrounded us.
