Being part of ELT technology department and accountable for fully remote scrum teams (6-12 people per team) in scrum at scale setting with focus of front-end customer facing features and back-end integrations for Cambridge One, a data-driven ecosystem for online English learning aimed at primary, secondary and higher education.•Supervised and coached up to two scrum teams simultaneously located in multiple locations (UK, Spain, Italy, Poland, Philippines, India), whereas QA was offshore in Philippines and development fully outsourced to India•Set-up adapted OKR led approach for quarterly PI Planning outlining the main objective(s), and for each objective highlighting the why, key results, risks, blockers, mitigations, dependencies and complexities•Improved team dynamics and productivity via e.g. new backlog structure, overhauled quarterly PI Planning board, adjusted agile ceremonies to team’s needs, regular backlog grooming and QA triaging, setting clear sprint goals and quarterly objectives, removing impediments, highlighting risks and dependencies, stakeholder reporting, optimizing mapping of features to fix version release dates•Built a fun, trusting and safe working environment where opinions matter equally, ideas, criticism and feedback can be openly voiced without being dismissed, nurturing a continuous improvement and problem solving mentality where expertise and autonomy counts•Coached team members in prioritization, backlog management, QA triaging, ticket readiness for sprints, scoping, preparation for PI planning week, coping with stress and anxiety and provided feedback about their performance•Contributed to continuous improvement mentality between scrum masters where we i.e. improved Jira workflows, established new prioritization framework, revised yearly sprint and PI schedule, introduced team health checks, checked consistency among teams e.g. Jira ticket writing, burn-downs, PI Planning boards, optimised team dependency and release management
