ABOUT FELIX LEHNEN
As an industrial engineer I have always been interested in fields where mining engineering meets business administration - as it is the case for market surveys, logistic systems or feasibility studies and a lot more. In my work as a project engineer at the Institut of Mining Engineering, I further qualified as a safety engineer and entered the fields of OHS and mine rescue. I have prepared my Ph.D. thesis on \"Mine Rescue Management\". As senior engineer and project manager for the Institute of Mineral Resources Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, I was responsible for market surveys, deep-sea mining, sustainable mining and PR. Now, I am working as Director for Radwaste Disposal, Mining and Environmental Management for the BRENK consulting engineers and scientists. Our team offers expertise to industrial and public projects that may range from R&D, feasibility and planning stages to operations and remediation stages - both in mining and radioactive waste disposal facilities.
